# secret-zone ## Pages - [Overview](https://docs.scrt.network/secret-zone/index.md) — The public chain is the record every program is checked against. A chain vote approves the operating system image all programs run on. A validator with a public seat registers a new program without a vote and becomes its owner, and the owner chooses which version runs until a chain vote makes the program tax-eligible, when chain votes take over. A program's computer gets its keys only after its hardware proves it is running exactly that image and version. - [Builder journey](https://docs.scrt.network/secret-zone/builder-journey/index.md) — To put a site on Secret Zone, you claim a name and connect a git repository, along with the command that builds it and the folder it outputs. - [Network programs](https://docs.scrt.network/secret-zone/network-programs/index.md) — A network program is a Secret Program the whole network depends on, so chain votes approve how it runs. Secret Money is a network program. - [Secret Programs](https://docs.scrt.network/secret-zone/programs-and-sdk/index.md) — A Secret Program is a program the chain knows by name. Each one runs on its own confidential computer, separate from every other program. Secret Money, Accounts and Secret Zone's own services are Secret Programs. - [User journey](https://docs.scrt.network/secret-zone/user-journey/index.md) — You sign up for Secret Zone with an email and a password. Your browser proves you know the password without sending it, and the login is sealed to Accounts before it reaches the edge, so the edge can't read it.
