Secret network has a very active community pool which funds several different committees who propose for funds every quarter. These committees consist of multiple leadership positions, some additional members with smaller roles and a discretionary budget to cover costs and incentive temporary help from the community.
(Smart contract) development
The goal of the official Secret Network support team is to be a first line of defense for users on the Secret Network. The team has been present and active during nearly every NFT mint/major event both in the Secret Community Discord and Telegram, as well as the project’s respective channels.
The support committee consists of 2 members (Waffle, and MrGarbanzo) who you can recognize by their @support role in discord and Admin status in the official Telegram.
Find the official Secret Network support channels via: https://linktr.ee/SCRTSupport
The Secret Network has a on-chain community pool governed by SCRT stakers. The community pool is a way for various teams to get funding denominated in SCRT. Most committees who work on the Secret Network get their quarterly funding from the community pool. The community pool is funded from an on-chain staking tax, 2% of the token inflation on the network is send to the community pool address. To get funding from the community pool one needs to submit an official governance proposal on-chain by using the SecretCLI. Documentation for proposing a funding request can be found here. When creating a Governance proposal we suggest you to follow the Secret Network Charter & Code of conduct as voted on in proposal #81. This Charter lays out the process of creating a proposal and asking for community feedback. The charter also provides a clear guidance for determining the amount of SCRT required for funding certain proposals. Everyone is free to create a Governance proposal to ask for community funds, please reach out to the community via the Forum first.
The Governance Committee exists to promote transparent collaboration within the network and provide neutral discussions on proposals, voting, and governance issues. We work closely together with validators and other committees to ensure optimal support for the overarching Secret Network goals.
It is vital to provide a space where thoughts and ideas can freely and respectfully be exchanged by anyone within the Secret Network to aid in reaching informed consensus on-chain.
The Governance committee lead is Pmuecke | SecretSauce which you can contact via the #Governance discord channel. The Governance committee hosts a meeting every Monday at 1600 UTC and posts weekly meeting notes on the .
The Community Curated Bounty List was initiated by the Governance committee and is a signalling proposal in which multiple development projects with funding up to 25,000 SCRT get a green light from the community. These on-chain approved ideas will make it easier for developers to ask subsequent funding from the community pool, via a governance proposal, to complete these development tasks. The CCBL was first introduced in and later updated in adding more ideas and a higher max budget. People who approach the CCBL will have the opportunity to get connected to individuals who are happy to help push the idea forward, refine it, and turn it into something that the on-chain community pool would be willing to fund assuming the right entity stepped up to build/execute on it. Before every Validator Survey new submissions will be vetted in a public CCBL Working Group meeting to make sure the ideas conform to the current boundary conditions as agreed to by the validators. The Validator Survey which will determine eventual inclusion in the on-chain proposal is currently sent out every 3 months.
Projects that can have their results (or a proof-of-concept) available within a month of full-time development. In the case of an individual developer there is some leniency.
No projects that are already in active development.
Projects need to be specific, so not just 'a casino'.\

The community code repositories are a small bounty framework where developers can take up tasks taking up to 20-30 hours to complete and thereby create an open source code library to be used by any other developer on the network. The CCR concept is budgeted for by the Secret Network development Committee and open projects can be found in the Github repository. Before taking on a task the Development committee leads will have a quick conversation with you so they can guide you in the project. Upon completion the code for the created tool is open sourced and the developer is paid the agreed upon bounty of up to $ 2,500 USD. To contribute please reference the Contributing.md in the CCR repository.
